Welcome to SILD!
SILD (the Swedish Institute for Legal Development), was founded in 1992 and is a non-profit organisation aimed at furthering the exchange of knowledge within specific areas of law to developing countries and to Eastern and Central Europe in order to support the development of rule of law states based on market structures and to promote respect for human rights.
The operation is built on the idea of networking and SILD’s strength is therefore its broad network of around one hundred qualified and experienced jurists from all areas of the judicial system who have been engaged by SILD for work within aid projects.
